2017 might have been a defining year for Daily Maverick, but sitting on Maverick laurels over the 12 months to come was not an option. In fact, the #GuptaLeaks would provide crucial information for years to come. There was no time off. The journalists had to keep pushing in order to ensure that the pressure remained on those implicated in State Capture.
